Sick

Interestingly enough I got sick right before retreat. Which is probably the worst possible time ever! Symptoms being chest pains, shortness of breath, coughing, and lack of a runny nose. Which I later found out to be acute bronchitis. (I must admit I feel the love when I type on MSN I have bronchitis and the only message I get from someone is, you spelled bronchitis wrong). At any rate, I really didn't want to get sick. However, other than being real real tired the first day of retreat I had an amazing amount of energy for the rest of it. And other than minimum loss of voice, miraculously not as much as a person with bronchitis should. I made it through and had a great time. So I consider that a miracle. Of course now that I'm back... I sorta lost my voice today, and feel pretty sore and tired. Hmmm miraculous indeed. Boy it really hurts when I cough now. But I dont' need my health today anyways. Ahh prayer definetly is powerful. Lots of answered prayers lately.

Congrats Trace on getting into music therapy.

Jerks

So what is a jerk? Would you consider a jerk someone who does mean things? ie. Hide hard objects in your bed? Or maybe a jerk is someone who just does the most annoying things? Sneaking on ur computer and posting on ur blog? Or maybe a jerk is someone who, even if you try lenting the word jerk, you still can't help calling them one? Perhaps that's the definition of a jerk?

At any rate, hahah jerks are fun people to be around. As long as they let you be a jerk too.

On the more serious note, I'm going to definetly try to be more encouraging from now on. It's really not my fault that when I say something I don't sound sincere though. I can't figure out what makes a comment sound more sincere? Maybe you gotta look angry?
