Summer time

I realize that even though summer starts in May it really doesn't hit until somewhere in June. I guess it's aall the events that go in June and July and August. Weddings, Softball, Summer conference, it's the time where people stop resting and start doing stuff again! Ahhh I only got choir to fit in and I will really feel like I'm not wasting time anymore.

I wonder what everyone thinks about passion? I don't mean the soap. I mean in general? Is it good? Is it bad? Does it last? Is it supposed to last? Things of passion let you do things without thinking so hard of the consequences and you can get over fears that you would never risk. Dangerous? Is it? Passion for God? Dangerous? Is it? hmmm something to think about.

Wish all the luck to those writing exams, thinking of exams they have to write, or pondering on what exams they want to write in the future. Those poor double cohort people. Just settle and go to Laurier!

Naps

When you were small and when it was 2 pm at school. Your teachers would force you to pull out your mats and and your blankets, put them on the floor and take a nap. They'd turn off the lights and just like that you were supposed to fall asleep for percisely one hour. Of course back then as little kids we went to bed at 8 an woke up with the sun. So naps really seemed like a forceful break for the teachers by then. Now, however how I long for a nap. Right after lunch when my eyes are drooping and my body is giving all the signals of digestion. You know, your mind wanders, your eyes want to take just a short break. And before you know it. BAM! Your sleeping anyways but you can't so you have to force yourself to stay awake. How ironic life is. When you're younger you want to be older when your older you want to be younger. When your in school you wish you were done school when you are done school you wish you were back in school. The circle of life is a vicious cycle. That reminds me SARS is really sucking Toronto dry. Lion King is closing, and Mamma Mia is closing for the summer because of the ticket sales. There goes any chance of me seeing those.

Ooh cell group tonight. That should be interesting. Never been to a cell group since high school. Probably going to a lot of talking. I wonder how hardcore it'll be.
