The Past

I was over at James' place last night. And we were flipping through old yearbooks from the NTCS days. About oh let's say 12 years ago. And looking through pictures. Laughing at why guys look different when they age but girls look exactly the same. Also trying to pool together where people are. James can pinpoint all the asians locations at this time.

I think it occured to me I stopped keeping in contact with these people. Like some of them were pretty close and we did lots of stuff with lots of memories. Then slowly I dunno poof. So really?
Isn't it odd? Like James alone. The connection where I started seeing him again was totally unrelated to NTCS completely.

I wonder which people I'll cross again in the future...

Tired

You know how they tell you to stretch before a game so you don't get injured. And how you should stretch after the game so you don't get sore? I don't find this works. I'm always sore! I stretch like mad and am always sore the next day. What's up with that?

It seems doubtful that we'll make the playoffs. I didn't realize how many hard teams we were playing until we played them. I'm telling you 6 or more of the teams we played are probably going to make the playoffs this season. I wish we played easy teams. One's where they actually miss a ball once in a while. Then again I guess that means we have to pick up our game.

I realized that I've picked up some vocab of words that I don't normally use. I think it's due to certain people saying it to much. (GG, Jerk, Dude, Meh) I dunno, but I think if someone says something enough i start picking it up like after the 3rd time I hear it. Anyone else like that?

Freedom

And with the last stroke of the pen, I finished my exam. Can't say I did well... but can't say I'm not glad it's over. I can't really say freedom since this term hasn't really captivated me anyways. I guess the only difference is that now when I slack I'm not procrastinating.

So onward into the future. Now I can make softball practices. I just have to tie up some loose ends in Loo and I'm off until the 7th of September when work starts.

So, I think it's time to start some planning. Now, someone tell me why people don't like planning? I realize that when I try to get other people to plan to do something, they never get around to it. Perhaps they just don't really want to do anything... but I"ll pretend that isn't the case and go with the fact that people are just lazy. So all you lazy people out there get planning so we can do some stuff! YOU KNOW YOU ARE!

Awesome!

B-day?

Well I tried to downplay my b-day this year. You know, because it feels awkward having people treat you nicer just because it's supposed to be a significant day. Although it's nice that you get priority hanging out priveledges. Nehow what did I end up doing? Well, did some spontaneous stuff with G,V, and A on Saturday. That was fun. Korean BBQ, I sweat and drink like 10 cups of water with that stuff. Sunday was cool. Someone tampered with the PP slids in service and wrote my name as THE Daniel Lee under birthdays that week in bold. (still trying to figure out who did that) This is service people, not fellowship, I hope the other people who didn't get a bold didn't feel like their b-day was any less significant. Of course, felt nice considering it was my sister's birthday last week and they spelt her name wrong. Had dinner with S and that was good catching up. Got another hate, nice one from Berlin. Sigh. And yesterday, I got some calls, and we watched Signs after some taco bell, and DQ with A, D, and E. I'm telling you, I get more attention on my b-day when I try to downplay then when I used to throw parties. Sheesh, what's up with that? Well, life is back to studying now. Yay...
