When I was in grade 4 or so, I remember being in class. For some reason or another (I don't remember the details) it came to a point where I was holding scissors at some girl's hair. She was daring me to cut it. And dared me and dared me. And I kept saying. I'm seriously going to do it. I'm going to do it. And she kept saying go ahead. Well, I did end up cutting it. And she laughed. Then looked to see some hair on the ground and realized I really cutted it. So she started crying and told on me to the teacher. (Don't worry I cut like very short pieces and you know how much hair girls have you coudln't even tell).
Early Life Morale: Just because someone says it's okay, doesn't mean that you can do it.
Sub Life Morale: Girls sometimes say things when they want you do something completely different.

I honestly have to question the point of school. The classes I go to I learn stuff, and then I forget it. I dont' seem to retain this knowledge and some of it just seems very unusable. Sometimes I sit and class and wonder what the prof is talking about. THen I memorize and jot it all down on the test and we never use it again? Honestly, if they filtered this stuff out I'm sure we could cut down university to 2 years instead of 4 or 5. Wouldn't you rather have 2 years of hardcore learning then 5 years of ummm sleeping and cramming? At any rate I guess that's how it works so I have to deal. Just my thoughts.
On the other hand, how much do we learn from being independent and adapting to the university life? We have to maintain our values and will power over all the different trials we come against. I guess this is what I'm taking so far from university. Of course this applies more for those that opted to actually get out of their transit zone.
At any rate, university is expensive. I'll definetly try to eat atleast twice a day and buy most of my books. Last year I only bought one. You have to really weigh how much you're really willing to pay for these books. I guess it depends on how good your prof is.
Nehow good luck for all you people out there starting school too. Just remember that it could be worse.
