I'm sitting at home. Typing away on ICQ talking to people that I know when I get a message from someone criticizing my blog interface. This reminds me of reading some people's blog's and seeing my link on their sites. All this makes me wonder how people even found my blog? I told one person. And somehow that jumped all over the place. Well, that simply explains why there is such a lazy interface on this page. Yes, it's very used and I have no links. I don't know how to get a counter working and the guestbook section seems to be hidden from sight because of my bad design. Well, in all fairness, think of this as a secret site that you aren't even supposed to know about. So let's just all pretend it is so I don't have pressure to update it all the time and keep an amazing upkeep design. Awesome!
Oh yeah, I dunno who actually sees this but... Shouts to the LCCF commitee (Rani, Clinton, Kari), Alumni (Ken, Elaine M, Grace, Anita), the awesome Prayer team (Lindsey, Alex), Music person (Erica), CGL's (Justin, Dawn, Elaine S), Outreach Planner (Eve), random old people Em, Steve, Trinh, Joe, Lawrence and of course to the last Elaine left, Elaine L. Good. Now realize that I know you're watching me and that I watch you.

What can you say? The birds are chirping, students are finishing off exams, and the air of softball season lingers in the wind. It's summer once again and although it may bring stressfulness for sum of job searching, and subletting I'm fortunate enough to be able to evade these problems. I look forward to the summer, providing I keep in mind I'm not there quite yet. (It's real inconvenient having hockey playoffs, easter, and exams all at the same time, plus trying to say bye to friends.)
Most people reflect on the past year. I would do so if I could really remember it. I have to admit that it's simply a blur of images that zoom by and I don't really recall things off the top of my head but take back feelings of things and how the aura of the past year has been. It's been.. busy, fulfilling, and stressful to say the least. I anticipate the summer at being the same. However, the one plus will be that I won't freeze my butt walking to school 20 minutes 4 times a day. Then again, I might get SARS in TO. So it's really a toss up.
Honestly, is SARS really that scary? Like I mean it's a mutated cholera virus that gives the symptoms of a flu. IS as contageous as a cold. And as deadly as pnemonia. I say that once you let SARS inconvenience you that's when the virus wins. Like I mean the people who've mostly caught it are those people from hospitals who try to contain it. Ironic isn't it? Yes, it's scary, and yes it sucks. However, we don't have to stop shaking hands at church, or write exams wearing masks. At any rate, if you get SARS, I say they inject you with the flu virus. Both viruses wouldn't be able to survive as they would fight for resources. In the end the influenza would win, because heck the flu has more experience. And your immune system can fight flus. Case closed. Yes, I'm cynical, or... I'm kidding whatever you take less offensive.

I'm a sucker for sad movies. This movie, though an anime, is more serious and dramatic then anything I've seen. The thing that sticks out in my mind is that it's based on a real story. Basically it's about how 2 children are left orphans from the bombing of the US during WW2. The realism and actual impact on which war has on innocent people is something that lingers even after finished watching it. I suppose that's how a movie should be, it allows you to reflect on the real life applications and relativity of things. If you watch the movie you'll know what I'm talking about. I suggest you to watch it. It's not entertaining in the laughing sense but definetly in grounding yourself to the horrors of war on a civilian level.
I'm well aware this is not a question answered. Perhaps if people post good questions in the guestbook I'll give you my opinion on them. It's hard for me to think up a lot of cool questions by myself. Actually the last 5 questions people have asked me. Thanks.

Question 7. Why do we go to school? Are we learning anything we'll really use?
In elementary school we went to school because it was fun. In high school we went to school because we had to. In university why do you pay so much to go?
What are you really learning? Isn't most of the stuff outdated before you get out in the working world? Are you really going to use 4 years worth of stuff?
Let's be frank the only thing you really learn from university is maturity. (Supposedly). A person learns to live on there own (hopefully). Also, to work on their own time and get things done (if not they probably fail). Independence and wisdom is what is truly brought out of university. Is that possible if your not in university? Sure of course! However, you need that piece of paper that says you went to get a good job. So... I guess in that sense your forced to go (unless your Bill Gates). But frankly I'm not going to remember 70% of what I learn at university, so you wonder why don't they just trim it down to 2 years for every program or something, but just be very focused. At any rate that's what I think.
